Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of ChatCraft at chatcraft.in (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you use ChatCraft for a business, you agree on behalf of that business.

1. The Service

ChatCraft lets you build AI chatbots that answer questions from content you provide, and deploy them on your website, through a shareable link, and on connected messaging channels such as WhatsApp, Instagram and Threads.

2. Your account

• You must give accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract.
• Keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity in your account.
• Tell us at [email protected] if you think your account has been used without permission.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you upload and the conversations your chatbots have. You give us permission to store, process and index it only as needed to run the Service for you. You confirm you have the right to use that content, including any website you ask us to crawl.

4. Your end users and connected channels

• You are responsible for your chatbot and for telling your own users how their data is handled, including that they are talking to an AI.
• When you connect WhatsApp, Instagram, Threads or another third-party platform, you must also follow that platform's terms and policies, including Meta's WhatsApp Business, Commerce and Platform policies. You must have the right to connect the account and any consent the platform requires to message your users.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use ChatCraft to:

• Break any law or anyone else's rights, including privacy and intellectual property rights.
• Send spam or unsolicited messages, or deceive, harass or harm people.
• Publish unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit or violent content.
• Collect sensitive data such as payment card numbers, passwords or health records through a chatbot without proper safeguards and consent.
• Attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service, or get around its limits.

We may suspend chatbots or accounts that break these rules.

6. AI answers

Chatbot answers are written by AI models from the content you provide. They can be incomplete or wrong. Check that your chatbot answers correctly before relying on it, and do not use it as the only source for medical, legal, financial or safety-critical advice.

7. Plans and payment

• Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment provider, Polar, and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• Each plan has usage limits. When you reach a limit, some features may stop until the next period or an upgrade.
• We may change prices with advance notice. Changes apply from your next billing period.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. You can ask us to delete your data by following our data deletion instructions.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using ChatCraft and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we have to by law. When an account is closed, its data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, ChatCraft is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
